Warwick Town and Country vets is seeking to employ a full-time experienced and qualified veterinary nurse to cover maternity leave starting June 2025, permanent employment may be an option for the right applicant. Warwick Town and Country Vets is a well-established privately owned mixed animal practice. We are a dedicated team of 4 vets and 5 nurses; we pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service and practicing a high quality of veterinary medicine and surgery to our loyal clientele. You will be working in a friendly and relaxed environment with an experienced team of supportive staff.

What we require

• Qualified Certificate IV in veterinary nursing
• Manual Drivers Licence
• Q fever vaccinated
• High attention to detail
• Confident in working in and out of the clinic with small and large animals
• Be able to work and contribute in a team environment
• Excellent animal handing skills
• Flexibility to be on call and work weekends
• Have a positive and friendly attitude

Our clinic hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday 8am to 12pm. A full-time position is 38 hours per week. You will be required to also share after hours and weekends to assist the Veterinarian on call.
