Plus One Vet is a fast growing Veterinary Practice with two locations in Sunnybank and Nundah. We opened 3 years ago and have grown rapidly expanding our current team to 7 veterinarians, 10 nurses and dedicated customer care team of 6. This means as a nurse you can get to do what you do best, nursing and caring for our patients. We have a commitment to continuing education and professional development. We have a community focus and often go above and beyond for our patients and clients, this also extends to our colleagues who are not just workmates but extended family.

Our vets have a wide range of skills and interests including but not limited to; orthopaedic, ultrasonography & echocardiogram, exotic pets and internal medicine.

Our clients are very dedicated and we are looking to exp and our nursing team to take on a new nurse to help keep up with our growing case load. Your role would include admitting and discharging surgical patients, monitoring of anaesthetics, blood draw & catheterisation of patients, TPR, husbandry, cleaning, client communication, nursing of hospital patients including medication preparation and administration.

Who are we looking for?

• A Veterinary Nurse with at least 3 years experience, currently holding Australia PR or
• Citizenship, qualified degree/certificate, confident with anaesthetics, animal restraint and basics of veterinary nursing
• A warm, friendly personality with a positive attitude and initiative
• Ability to work efficiently, independently and as part of the team
• Exceptional communication and client relationship building skill
• Able to drive and work at two Clinics in Sunnybank and Nandah.
