We're on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Small Animal Veterinarian to join our awesome team and continue growing with us!

A BIT ABOUT US

Northern Beaches Veterinary Clinic (NBVC) is a well-established, family-owned practice located in the Northern Beaches of Cairns. Since opening in July 2022, we've grown rapidly from 1 vet and 3 nurses to a close-knit team of 4 vets and 11 amazing nurses and support staff.

Despite being relatively new, we've built a strong reputation in the community and enjoy the trust and loyalty of an excellent and growing client base. Our clients value quality care and are committed to doing the best for their pets, making your job as a vet that much more rewarding. We perform minimal routine surgery, and our Head Veterinarian is eager to mentor the next team member and help them expand their clinical knowledge and skills.

We are a Fear Free focused clinic, meaning we take our time - longer consults, thorough workups, and a well-managed schedule give you the breathing room to do your best work. Our team thrives on communication, mutual respect, and providing the highest level of patient and client care. We're proud of our supportive culture and low staff turnover, and we genuinely have a lot of fun while working hard.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and registration with a state Veterinary Board
• A calm, confident vet with strong communication skills
• A positive team player who brings great energy to the clinic
• 2 years + experience preferred
