We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our team and play a key role in the care of our patients.

Position Overview:

This position would be most suitable for a nurse with well rounded skills, however someone with a passion for customer service and reception would also be a good fit. As an experienced Veterinary Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care. You will work closely with our veterinarians, ensuring efficient and effective day-to-day clinic operations, assisting in surgical procedures, and handling a variety of medical cases. The ideal candidate will be proactive, empathetic, and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients including pre-operative, surgical, and post-operative care.
  • Assist veterinarians in performing diagnostic tests, procedures, and surgeries.
  • Supervise and mentor junior nurses, providing training and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.
  • Support the team in managing client relations, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Handle emergency situations with professionalism and calmness.
  • A predominantly reception role is also on offer if preferred

Skills & Experience:

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Nurse.
  • Sound clinical skills and a thorough understanding of veterinary nursing practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with both clients and team members.
  • Ability to multitask, manage time efficiently, and work well under pressure.
  • A passion for animal care and welfare.
