Well, look no further. We are looking for an experienced Cert IV Veterinary Nurse or Veterinary Technician superstar to join the Chelmer Graceville Veterinary Practice in a full-time role. Chelmer-Graceville is a member of Vetwell, a boutique group of privately-owned Brisbane veterinary practices.

Our two - three veterinarian practice is a long-established, very well regarded, small animal practice located on the southside of metropolitan Brisbane. Our beautiful clinic is located on a popular street in the heart of Graceville, surrounded by delicious cafes, restaurants and shops, therefore, you never have to worry if you forget your lunch! The clinic has been newly renovated encompassing a modern boutique vibe.

We are very blessed to have an amazing clientele that care deeply about their pets and their healthcare. We pride ourselves in creating long standing relationships and ensuring clients respect and trust us to do what is best for their pets.

This position is Full-Time and we'd expect the successful Veterinary Nurse to work shifts within the range of 7:30am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday 7:30am - 12noon. Some Saturday morning work is a required part of this position.

Key Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining a consistently high level of organisation and cleanliness within the clinic.
• Reception duties.
• Providing client education and advice.
• Assisting Veterinarians with animals during examination and surgery.
• Preparing animals for surgery, including placing i/v catheters and blood collection.
• Monitoring patients during anaesthesia and providing post-operative care.
• Preparing and administrating medications.
• Running in house pathology.
• Assisting in ultrasound and radiography.
