Sydney Animal Hospitals Inner West – Full Time Vet – 4 days per week

We are a friendly, fun team of professional animal lovers serving the vibrant Inner West community. We are looking for an experienced vet for a full-time position, starting mid-September. Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with a passion for working up complex cases, performing soft tissue surgery and dental procedures.

About us:

We are a small, but well equipped and busy small animal practice that provides the community with high standard of veterinary and client care. We have all the equipment expected to work cases up to a high standard and are always happy to invest in the latest tech to continue to provide out client's access to the vet care they need without the need for referral. We have visiting orthopaedic and advanced soft tissue surgeons, allowing us to keep our patients under our care and see cases from start to finish.

With an established team of senior vets, this is a great opportunity to advance your skills with a varied caseload to keep each day exciting.

We have an excellent client base who are dedicated to their pets and enjoy collaborating with the team on their care.

What we need from you:

• Registration with the NSW vet board, or the ability to register.
• Excellent communication skills
• Confident in common soft tissue surgery, dentistry and routine emergencies such as stitch ups, bite wounds, toxicity ingestions.
• Be confident communicating with clients about their pet's care, ensuring a high standard of care is offered
• Work well within a team environment
