Salamander Bay Veterinary Clinic is a 4-vet small animal practice located in the picturesque Port Stephens region, just north of Newcastle and only five minutes from the beach. Situated in a popular coastal holiday destination, the clinic enjoys a loyal and supportive clientele with a varied caseload and excellent facilities, we offer great opportunities for vets with a keen interest in surgery.

We’re seeking a full-time Veterinarian to join our team in a permanent capacity. This role offers a great mix of medicine, surgery, and lifestyle, supported by our skilled nursing team.

We’re fully equipped with ultrasound, endoscopy, orthopaedic equipment, and electrocautery—just missing a CT scanner and MRI.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent, recognised in Australia
• A minimum of two years’ experience (preferred)
• Confidence in soft tissue surgery
• Experience in orthopaedics (bonus, but not essential)
