Your Graduate Journey Includes:
Structured Support & Mentorship
- Two-week shadowing period with experienced veterinarians
- Dedicated Clinical Lead for ongoing guidance
- Monthly online catch-ups with senior vets covering standards of care, case discussions, and industry trends
- Graduate Handbook with diagnostic pathways and treatment plans for North Queensland cases
- Competency checklist to track your professional development
- Gradual increase in case complexity as confidence grows
Practical Skills Development
- Large animal practical day covering:
- Pregnancy testing & VBBSE
- Bovine artificial insemination
- Bovine lameness exams
- Anaesthesia and local blocks
- Equine skills
- Mixed practice exposure - small animals to cattle and horses
- Wildlife and exotic species experience
After-Hours Support (commencing after 10-12 weeks)

Graduate Program Timeline
