Are you an experienced veterinarian ready to take on a leadership role while still doing what you love—providing excellent care to patients? Highgate Hill Veterinary Surgery is a long-established and community-focused veterinary surgery that has recently moved to our brand new digs in East Brisbane. We are looking for a senior vet to step into a practice leadership role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and capable vet who wants to combine clinical work with team management and operational involvement.

What the Role Involves:

• Lead by example in delivering outstanding veterinary care
• Provide mentorship and support to junior vets and nursing staff
• Help shape clinical standards and treatment protocols
• Collaborate with the practice owner on daily operations, rostering, and business planning
• Contribute to client relations and practice growth initiatives
• Ensure smooth communication across the clinical team

About You:

• BVSc or equivalent and registration to practice in Queensland
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in small animal general practice
• Confident with a wide range of cases including medicine, surgery, and diagnostics
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A team-focused approach and passion for staff development
• Interest in the operational side of veterinary practice
