Brighton Vet has an exciting opportunity for a talented Veterinary Surgeon, with a passion for leadership and team development, to join our team. As the Clinical Lead Veterinarian at Brighton Vet, you will take on a pivotal role in overseeing our clinic's clinical operations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, while continuing the legacy of Brighton Vet. This position offers both full-time and part-time options, because it’s important to us to find the right person, we offer flexibility to make sure you take care of your own wellbeing.
About Us:
Brighton Vet Perth is a well-established and highly regarded veterinary clinic located in the northern suburbs of Perth, WA. We are dedicated to providing our clients with a good understanding of health care issues and treatment options for their pets. Our current lead veterinarians are taking a well-deserved break and we are looking for an experienced veterinarian to join our passionate team, to continue their legacy of excellence.
Our opening hours are Mon – Frid 0830 – 1830, Sat 0830 - 1200 (on rotation). No after hours or public holidays.
The position:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of skilled veterinarians and veterinary nurses.
- Deliver exceptional medical care and perform surgical procedures.
- Develop and implement medical protocols and best practices.
- Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
- Foster and nurture strong client relationships through excellent communication and service.
- Actively participate in continuing education to stay abreast of the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.

About you:
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical veterinary experience and VSBWA veterinary license
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong diagnostic and surgical skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality care.
- Willingness to work collaboratively and guide the team.
