We are seeking a part-time veterinarian to join our team at Burpengary Vet. Our roster is flexible, allowing a mix of consulting and surgery caseload.

About us:

We are a brand-new purpose-built clinic with a team of 5-6 vets and 8 support staff daily. We have a friendly team who are very supportive of each other.

Our caseload is wide and variable offering the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills in both medicine and surgery. We encourage the development of special interests or skills. We have a dedicated reception team and experienced nurses.

Our digs:

• 5 consult rooms
• 2 dedicated sterile surgeries
• 1 dentistry/ 2 wet benches
• Open-plan treatment area
• X-ray (dental, digital full body)
• Ultrasound
• Full in-house IDEXX blood system
• High support staff to vet ratio
• Dedicated reception team
• 2 consulting nurses
• Experience in managing preventative medicine, performing medical procedures, anaesthesia, and surgeries

Burpengary is in a great location offering easy transport to both Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.

About you:
We would love to have a veterinarian with 2+ years’ experience to join our team at Burpengary Vet. Someone who enjoys doing a mix of consulting and surgery would be ideal. You also need to have a valid registration to practice in Queensland.
