About the role

We are seeking a qualified veterinary nurse to join our team, assisting our Veterinary Sonographers on the road. This is a part-time opportunity where you will drive to different vet clinics alongside a Vet to assist them with nursing and admin duties while they perform diagnostic ultrasounds on small animal patients. Every day is exciting and different, and your nursing and customer service skills will shine as you visit and interact with many different clinics, patients and veterinary professionals each week!

Essential qualifications and experience

• Have a Certificate IV in veterinary nursing or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required
• Current full Victorian driver’s licence
• Previous exposure to ultrasound an advantage but not essential

Key duties

• Provide excellence in veterinary nursing care with compassion and respect for animal welfare
• Perform various customer service and administration tasks
• Be able to work under pressure and multi-task, ensuring high standards are consistently met
• Be able to communicate professionally with all team members
• Demonstrate accountability and reliability
• Demonstrate pride in accuracy and detail in all aspects of work
