Altona Veterinary Clinic (AVC) has an opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in August/September 2025. New or recent graduate Vets are also welcome to apply. The practice provides exceptional and professional veterinary care to pets and their owners. We have a strong reputation among a loyal client base for providing high standards of care and treatment and excellent customer service.

The Role

• You will be integral to the daily operations of our practice and contribute to the growth of the team through mentoring and providing support to both staff and clients.
• Play a key role in the practice development and support its smooth operation daily.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pet owners by offering clear communication and compassionate care.
• Offer guidance, support and mentoring to staff, helping foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
• Mix of consulting and surgery shifts. (Roster will be on Thursday, Friday and a share of Saturdays)
• Deliver high-quality veterinary care, efficiently managing the day-to-day caseload with a progressive, hands-on approach.
• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent.
