Looking for an experienced Practice Manager/Vet Nurse for our busy West End practice that combines general veterinary care with pet grooming and ancillary services such as meditation.  Willingness to assist with grooming duties (bathing and basic clipping) when needed would be advantageous.

The Opportunity

GPVet is a new kind of veterinary practice that mimics a human GP environment and focuses on non-surgical care and procedures including dental.  As the Practice Manager and Vet Nurse with GPVet, you will play an integral role in overseeing the day-to-day running of the clinic to ensure the patient experience is as positive as we can make it, and the delivery of administrative/reception functions is efficient and effective. This opportunity would suit an experienced Cert IV Vet Nurse looking for a new and exciting opportunity.

Key responsibilities:  

• Oversee and support the team in executing the day-to-day operations of the practice.
• Manage administrative tasks and staff rosters.
• Supporting and delivering uncompromising standards of care for our furry friend patients and ensuring an exceptional client experience
• Identifying and forecasting teams training requirements and promoting skills development.
• Promoting and upholding the team vision and values
• Leading and developing the team to promote and maintain a positive workplace culture.
• Work closely with the Lead Veterinarian to review business performance and achieve business sustainability & growth.

 To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven Practice Management experience would be very beneficial
• Demonstrated experience with delivering an excellent client experience in a previous role is essential.
• A Cert IV in Vet Nursing and 3+ years of experience
• Desire to lead, engage and inspire a team.
• High attention to detail and time management skills with an ability to work to deadlines.
• Proactive and positive work ethic and attitude, willing to support the team wherever needed.
