North Shore Veterinary Specialist and Emergency Centre (NSVSC) is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic veterinarian to join our team as a rotating intern starting ASAP.
About Us
NSVSC is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art veterinary hospital that delivers 24/7 specialist and emergency care. Our expert team includes specialists in internal medicine, surgery, emergency and critical care, oncology, anaesthesia, dermatology, exotic animal medicine, and a progressive general practice.
We operate out of a brand-new facility equipped with the latest technology to support advanced diagnostics and treatment. This includes a fully equipped in-house laboratory for biochemistry, haematology, and blood gas analysis; a comprehensive imaging suite featuring two ultrasound rooms, digital radiography, a 128-slice GE CT scanner, and a Siemens 1.5T MRI. We also have mechanical ventilators, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, three state-of-the-art operating theatres, an in-house blood bank, and a dedicated ICU with cot beds and oxygen cages.

The Opportunity
This 18-month internship offers structured rotations through our Medicine, Surgery, and Emergency & Critical Care departments. Interns will work closely with specialists and experienced teams, gaining hands-on experience in case management, diagnostics, surgical assistance, and inpatient care.
About You
We’re looking for candidates with:
- At least 1-year post-graduate veterinary work experience
- A genuine interest in pursuing specialisation, or in building advanced clinical skills
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset
- A commitment to delivering gold-standard patient care
- Eligibility for veterinary registration in New South Wales
