Small Animal Vet- Full-Time (preferred) or Part-Time.

Torrens Road Veterinary Clinic is looking for a full-time Small Animal Veterinarian to join our dedicated team of 5 veterinarians and 7 nurses. To start as soon as practicable.

We are an independently owned clinic and keen to mentor new or recent graduates.

We have a core focus on improving the wellbeing and care of pets, their owners and also our staff. We pride ourselves on low staff turnover and encourage long term patient/client continuity and bonding.

Our position offers a structured new graduate induction program focused on being highly supportive and mentoring in all areas of practice including surgical, medical and imaging.
A broad range of cases are seen in our clinic allowing you to develop and expand your skillset and succeed in proving top tier veterinary care in fields such as soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, exotics, internal medicine, diabetic management, ophthalmology, clinical pathology, dermatology, behaviour, anaesthesia and imaging.

We offer a great work-life balance with no on-call duties, after hours or Sunday consultations. Rostering can be flexible to your needs.

We encourage and finance CPD and support the development of special skills and interests.

Our vets are particularly interested and have skills to share with graduates in: surgery and internal medicine, diabetic management, ophthalmology, clinical pathology, dermatology, behaviour, anaesthesia and ultrasonography.

Some of the quality equipment we offer:

• Cardell anaesthetic monitor including capnography, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, ECG, core body temperature, respiratory rate and Infusion pumps for IV and CR infusion
• Orthopaedic, intraocular pressure(tonopen) and rhinoscopy equipment
• Dentistry vet base and DR X-ray unit
• Digital Radiography with dedicated lead lined room and exterior exposure trigger along with GE Logiq E ultrasound machine
• Extensive in-house laboratory powered by IDEXX
• Extensive library of reference books and VIN membership
• RxWorks practice management software

Position to commence as soon as possible, small on-site flat, rent-free, available for temporary use if interested. A part time position could also be negotiated.
