If you are an experienced vet who gets excited when there is a big, juicy splenectomy on the schedule, we’ve got the perfect role for you.

You don’t have to be an ortho whiz; just love a good enterotomy, BOAS surgery or challenging lump removal.

Our 5 experienced vets are all confident, competent surgeons but we would like to expand our combined skillset with the right person in this new role.

There will be some consulting, and plenty of dentistry, but you will be our go-to surgeon for the exciting stuff.

About Us

We’re a family-owned and operated, small animal practice in Round Corner Dural – just 35 minutes from the CBD, 5 minutes from Castle Hill.

• Two sterile theatres, wet area, DR X-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, dental X-ray
• Well-organised scheduling with reserved urgent-care spots daily (no overbooking)
• 30-minute consults as standard (time to do things properly)
• A sun-soaked lunch room with a kitchen stocked with coffee, snacks, fruit and lunch supplies
• Great backup of excellent locums so regular holidays are a breeze to organize.

You’ll be working with a fun, collaborative group of 5 experienced vets and an amazing team of qualified, capable nurses who make every day smoother and more enjoyable.

About the Role

• The role is flexible from 1–3 weekdays but must include Fridays.
• 1 Saturday per month.
• No after-hours, no Sundays, no public holidays
• Competitive hourly rate
• Full CPD support + practice memberships for CVE, VIN, Plumbs
• Professional registration & X-ray licences covered
