We are a fast-growing and busy small animal vet hospital close to Perth CBD in Western Australia. We pride ourselves in practicing best medicine, always reviewing what we do to see how we can improve to achieve the best possible outcome for our patients.

We believe the clinic is only as good as the team in it and therefore only employ the best. We are after personality more than experience. You will enjoy great support in this role as we all love to share information and help each other achieve the best possible outcome.

The successful candidate should:

• Be positive and enthusiastic about their job and have plenty of energy and optimism.
• Enjoy all aspects of veterinary science from medicine to surgery and everything in-between.
• We are after a vet with a keen interest in surgery as we do many and most ourselves and the position will have regular busy surgery shifts.
• Be a good communicator and enjoy working with clients.
• Be a great team leader who can lead the nursing team through a busy day while having fun.
• Be willing to learn and change to improve patient care, client service and offer best medicine.
• Ideally have 1 - 2 years+ of experience.

More about the role:

• Part time to full time position: 9am – 6pm weekdays (3 to 4 days)
• Every second Saturday: 9am – 1pm
• Remuneration: we are open for discussion and will pay well for a great candidate

• We have a full in-house lab, digital x-rays, ultrasound and other fun toys.

• We have separate cat and dog reception areas and hospital wards.

• Seperate room for euthanasias and grieving.
• Independent vet clinic where staff feel valued and take part in the decision-making process.
