MASH is looking for two new nurses to join our surgery department.

Are you a qualified vet nurse looking for a rewarding opportunity to further your career?

Melbourne Animal Specialist Hospital (MASH) is seeking additional surgery/anaesthesia nurses to join our state-of-the-art facility.

With mentoring by specialists in surgery and anaesthesia, you will develop your skills as both a surgical assistant and an anaesthetist in a supportive and welcoming environment. MASH also has a dedicated surgery coordinator to ensure our department runs smoothly and everyone has the on-the-floor direction they need.

We are looking for Cert IV qualified nurses comfortable monitoring routine anaesthetics, but are more interested in personality, team fit, work ethic and a willingness to learn, than prior specialist experience. So, if you are looking for an opportunity to break into the specialist field this is it!!

Requirements:

• Cert IV in veterinary nursing or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management and multitasking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
