The Austin Urgent Care:
The Austin Urgent Care service is available 24 hours per day Monday to Sunday with a rotation of shifts on mornings, evenings and nights (up to 4 shifts per week supporting the work life balance to work around your life commitments). The daily work will revolve around providing immediate medical attention for pets requiring care, and tending to the hospitalised patients. You will be able to provide the best possible care for patients, using all of the equipment you would expect of a specialist hospital. On a daily basis, you will interact, and learn from, a supportive specialist team, who are available 24/7 either in person or on call.
About The Austin:
Our custom-built hospital (1200m2) is designed around a synergistic approach to patient care. Between specialist departments in surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology and imaging, we work as one team to ensure outstanding patient care and exceptional customer service. Our hospital has all the instruments necessary to enable our team to relish their chosen careers, and flourish. This includes intensive care facilities, large central treatment area, surgery wing, full suite of imaging equipment and dedicated medicine room.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and expertise:
- Veterinary degree that is recognised in South Australia
- Minimum of 2+ years of demonstrable patient care experience
- Desire to develop career in Urgent Care/Emergency and Critical Care
- Be passionate about, and have a proven track record of, delivering the highest standards of patient care, going above and beyond to help our clients and their pets.
- Possess initiative and a positive mindset
