Dr Bs Vet Clinic was a new build only 3 years ago. We are currently open Monday to Friday 8.30am - 6.30pm and Saturdays 8:00am to 1pm. Saturday shifts just has 1 vet on a rotating roster currently 1 in 2 and will be 1 in 3. Afterhours is done by the practice owner or referred to AES which is 20 minutes down the road in either direction (Underwood or Jindalee). There is opportunity to join the roster for after hours. The clinic is well fitted out and we offer an excellent standard of care. We pride ourselves on the care and empathy delivered by each member of the team.

We are located on the southside of Brisbane in Logan. The clinic is close to a variety of food outlets and the local shopping centre Grand Plaza.

The clinic currently has 3 vets including two senior vets that have worked together for over 7 years and have a combined experience of 35 plus years. We have a very low staff and client turnover and we are expanding at a rapid rate with new clients daily. We currently have 3 vets from overseas as nurses, 2 nurses, a head vet nurse, a receptionist and a practice manager.

Our clinic is quite large with

• Two dedicated surgery rooms coming off a dedicated treatment room
• Separate wet prep room for dentals and dirty procedures,
• Digital xray room
• 3 consult rooms
• Individual cat and dog wards
• Surgery one has a dedicated “quiet wakeup” room for high risk/stressful patients away from the treatment wakeup cages.
• Shower and bathroom facilities and the all important lunchroom/kitchen that is always stocked with coffee and snacks (the boss likes to keep us well fed).

We have all the normal toys: doppler ultrasound, IM3 dental machine, digital xray, in house hematology, biochemistry and minividas progesterone machine and Tci endoscopy.

As a team, we are really like a family, we support each other’s wins and achievements inside and outside of work. We do activities out of work and even close the clinic for staff mental health and bonding days.

What you’ll be doing each day

• Delivering personalised, professional and dedicated care to our patients and owners
• Handling and treating all small animals with help from your dedicated nursing staff
• Regular consults and routine surgery
• Using evidence-based diagnoses, therapies and recommended courses of treatment
• Providing follow-up care and education to our pet owners
