About the Role
This position is primarily based at our beautiful, purpose-built Highton clinic, with some shift coverage at Geelong West and Lara when required. You’ll work across all areas of general practice and be a key part of our vibrant and skilled team. Your role will involve:
- Perform medical and surgical procedures to a high clinical standard.
- Deliver empathetic, professional care and communication to clients.
- Conduct diagnostic testing, including pathology, radiography and in-house laboratory work.
- Manage cases from consultation through to treatment and recovery.
- Provide leadership and support to the nursing team during procedures and patient care.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety and infection control protocols.
- Maintain accurate medical records and complete associated administrative tasks.
About You
Our ideal candidate will possess the below skills and qualities:
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and an empathetic nature with the ability to balance the needs of pets, clients, the team, and the clinic.
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
- Outstanding time management and organizational abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and effective communication skills to easily build relationships with clients and teammates.
- Experience in emergency care is advantageous.
- At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
