About the Role

This position is primarily based at our beautiful, purpose-built Highton clinic, with some shift coverage at Geelong West and Lara when required. You’ll work across all areas of general practice and be a key part of our vibrant and skilled team. Your role will involve:

• Perform medical and surgical procedures to a high clinical standard.
• Deliver empathetic, professional care and communication to clients.
• Conduct diagnostic testing, including pathology, radiography and in-house laboratory work.
• Manage cases from consultation through to treatment and recovery.
• Provide leadership and support to the nursing team during procedures and patient care.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate medical records and complete associated administrative tasks.

About You

Our ideal candidate will possess the below skills and qualities:

• Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and an empathetic nature with the ability to balance the needs of pets, clients, the team, and the clinic.
• Capable of working independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
• Outstanding time management and organizational abilities.
• Exceptional customer service and effective communication skills to easily build relationships with clients and teammates.
• Experience in emergency care is advantageous.
• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
