Veterinarian - Part-time opportunity with potential for Full-time

Hillarys Veterinary Hospital is looking for a part-time Veterinarian with potential for full-time to join our family owned and operated, modern practice in Hillarys, Perth. The position is flexible and can be tailored.

Experience in a small animal practice

Hillarys Veterinary Hospital is a small practice, and our new team member needs to be someone with sufficient experience to be able to independently manage consultations. We promote a collaborative approach within the practice and with other professionals in the industry. These reciprocal relationships allow us to consult each other on complex cases and offers the opportunity to leverage the experience of others to fast-track professional learning. We see you as becoming another trusted advisor in our informal network.

Our need is for someone to assist with consultations and surgeries.

Eligibility to practice in WA

Current registration as a Veterinarian with the Veterinary Practice Board Western Australia or eligibility to practice as a Veterinarian in Western Australia under the National Recognition of Veterinary Registration scheme.

Our Practice

Hillarys Veterinary Hospital opened doors in December 2023 and is located in a residential property that has been extensively reconfigured, extended and fitted out to create a purpose built, modern veterinary practice, with brand new equipment.

We offer separate consulting rooms and waiting areas for dogs and cats, a dedicated surgical suite, X-ray room, large treatment room, and an array of diagnostic equipment.

Hillarys Veterinary Hospital is located right across the road from Westfield Whitford City Shopping Centre with easy access to food outlets, public transport, shops and other amenities.

Our practice operates with the welfare of our people in mind. For example, we:

Are open from 8:30AM to 5:30PM on weekdays and 8:00AM to 1:00PM on Saturdays.
Have a rotating Saturday roster shared between everyone.
Do not offer after hours service.
Are flexible with family commitments.
