Veterinarian - Full time ideally, part time would be considered

A position is now available for an experienced veterinarian to join our newly established practice in Melbourne’s inner North West. We are family owned and operated. We provide plenty of support and work together to achieve good case outcomes.

The position would suit a vet with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Any special interest would be encouraged. An interest in hospital management would also be encouraged. Alternatively excellent support can be provided to applicants with less experience. The successful applicant should be passionate about providing excellent medical and surgical care to their patients. We are seeking someone with excellent communication skills with both clients and colleagues. The successful candidate must have a veterinary degree registrable in Victoria. Along with routine work, the clinic has a background in preparing animals for international travel.

Our team consists of 6 experienced nurses and 3.5 experienced veterinarians.

Digital DR radiography
Idexx procyte haematology analyser and catalyst one chemistry analyser
IM3 dental unit
Intraoral radiography
Ultrasound
Patient warming
Dedicated surgical suite with heated surgical table
Intraoperative SPO2, temperature, ECG and NIBP monitor

2 large consulting rooms and much more

Our hours of operation are Mon-Fri 8.30am-7pm & Sat 9am-1pm. The role will require every 2nd Saturday and include a consistent RDO each week.

We are underway with renovations that will provide us a new state of the art purpose built hospital to enjoy working in.
