Help Lead the Future of Pet Wellness
Are you a vet who’s passionate about natural health, nutrition, and making a meaningful impact in pets' lives? Want to bring your clinical knowledge to a brand that genuinely cares about animals, people, and the planet? We’re a pet wellness company that’s redefining what it means to support the health of our furry companions — and we’re looking for a Veterinary Consultant / Advisor to join us on this mission.
In this unique and collaborative role, you’ll play a critical part in shaping product development, enhancing brand credibility, and ensuring product efficacy — all while helping pet parents better understand how to support their animal’s health holistically.
What You’ll Be Doing:
New Product Development & Research
You’ll lead the creation of evidence-based products — including meal boosters, chews, and everything between — working closely with pharmacists, manufacturers, and our internal teams to:
- Research, formulate, and refine products based on veterinary principles.
- Identify innovative ingredients that enhance efficacy.
- Validate health claims and ensure scientific and regulatory alignment.
2. Brand Credibility & Education
Using your veterinary expertise, you’ll help position our brand as a trusted name in pet wellness by:
- Writing educational blog articles and digital content.
- Reviewing packaging, social media, and marketing content for scientific accuracy.
- Offering a professional endorsement and presence across our platforms.
- Working alongside our marketing team to create interactive consumer tools (e.g. quizzes, checklists, FAQs).
- Co-hosting webinars or participating in podcasts.
3. Product Efficacy & Evidence Gathering
We go beyond buzzwords — and you’ll help us prove it:
- Design and manage lab-based and field-based trials.
- Run consumer-based anecdotal studies and surveys.
- Analyse data to shape messaging and inform future product improvements.
4. Trade Shows, Expos & Industry Events
You’ll represent the brand at major pet industry events — both in Australia and internationally — attending trade shows, expos, and professional gatherings multiple times a year. You'll help us stay across the latest trends, foster new connections, and share our mission with the broader pet wellness community.
About You:
You’re a qualified vet with a few solid years of experience under your belt — but you’re also more than that. You’re the kind of person who’s curious, proactive, and genuinely excited by the idea of doing things differently. You thrive when your work feels meaningful, and you’re driven by the desire to make a real impact on the health and happiness of pets (and their people).
You're likely someone who:
- Has a deep interest in nutrition and integrative health for pets.
- Wants to explore new, innovative ways to use your veterinary skills outside of GP practice.
- Is eager to contribute to something bigger than the clinic floor — a brand that’s pushing boundaries and creating something special.
- Has the confidence to speak up, share insights, and collaborate closely with a team of passionate humans (and our canine taste testers).
- Enjoys writing, educating, and being involved in consumer-facing content like blogs, webinars, and podcasts.
- Is organised, self-led, and can manage projects and timelines with ease.
- Wants to be part of a business that is warm, bold, and values both science and soul.
And if you’re someone who sees opportunity around every corner — even better. While there are clear responsibilities in this role, there’s also plenty of room to stretch, evolve, and grow. Whether you want to dive deeper into research, or explore a brand-new area of the business, we’ll be right there to support your development and cheer you on.
What’s in It for You?
- A career beyond consults. Use your veterinary skills in product development, education, and innovation — and help shape something truly meaningful for pets (and their people).
- Supportive flexibility. While we are predominantly in the office, we’re human too — if you need a bit of give and take, we’ll always do our best to meet you there.
- A team you’ll love to work alongside. Kind humans, passionate conversations, and lots of dog talk. Our Sunshine Coast office has free parking — and yes, the coffee’s free too.
- Perks that matter. Enjoy staff discounts on our products (your pets will thank you) and professional development support to help you grow.
- Purpose and impact. Your voice will shape what we make, how we share it, and how we show up for our community.
Sound like your kind of role? Let’s chat about you joining the pack.
