About the Role

This position is primarily based at our beautiful, purpose-built Highton clinic, with some shift coverage at Geelong West and Lara when required. You’ll work across all areas of general practice and be a key part of our vibrant and skilled team. Your role will involve:

  • Supporting medical and surgical procedures.
  • Deliver compassionate client service.
  • Performing laboratory and clinical tasks including blood collection and IV catheterisation.
  • Maintain high standards of patient care
  • Assist with nurse triage and consultations.
  • Monitoring anaesthesia and post-operative recovery.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • General administrative duties.
  • General cleaning responsibilities.

About You

Our ideal candidate will possess the below skills and qualities:

  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and a compassionate approach.
  • Capable of working independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service and effective communication skills.
  • Proven ability to take responsibility and see tasks through to completion.
  • At least 2 years of experience in surgical nursing.
  • Experience in emergency care is advantageous.
  • Minimum of a Certificate IV or equivalent qualification.
