Job Description

Eumundi Vets Is Hiring – Veterinary Nurse/Receptionist Full time Role

Come and join our close-knit team in the beautiful Noosa Hinterland!

We are an independently owned small animal clinic, set on 30 acres in the heart of Eumundi. The region offers an incredible lifestyle with a true work–life balance – from hinterland charm to coastal attractions, it has it all.

Our clinic services a wide area, from the coast to the hinterland, and we see a varied caseload – everything from everyday GP visits to critical emergencies.

We’re fully equipped with in-house IDEXX diagnostics, ultrasound, digital radiography, dental x-ray, and full dental suite, plus the latest monitoring equipment. With Smartflow and WebPacs, our workflow is fully digital and efficient.

Our surgical caseload is diverse – from routine desexing through to advanced soft tissue procedures and basic orthopaedics. Above all, we pride ourselves on gold-standard patient care, going the extra mile for every animal, and building lasting relationships with our clients.

We are a relaxed, supportive team with a great sense of humour – but when it’s showtime, we bring our best. We’re looking for someone who will become part of our clinic family and grow with us.

The Role

  • Full-time position (part-time considered)
  • Family-friendly hours (8:00 am – 4:00 pm)
  • Primarily reception-based role
  • Above-award remuneration

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified (or currently training) veterinary nurse with strong practical knowledge
  • Confident in patient triage and client communication
  • Able to build trust and rapport with clients and their pets
  • Strong multitasking skills – managing calls, bookings, and walk-ins while supporting the team
  • Organised and efficient with scheduling, billing, and stock control
  • Comfortable with practice management software and digital systems
  • High attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
  • Excellent time management and a strong work ethic
  • Enthusiastic, positive, and adaptable
  • A wicked sense of humour!
