The Opportunity

We’re on the lookout for a Veterinary Operations Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment. Whether you're seeking full-time or part-time, this is your chance to step into a leadership role that truly matters.

Reporting to the Practice Principals and General Manager, you'll play a pivotal part in the daily rhythm of the hospital—leading with empathy, acting with purpose, and working closely with a collaborative management team to keep operations running smoothly and teams feeling supported.

Your Key Responsibilities

✨ Lead the Floor – Oversee day-to-day workflows, manage the appointment diary, support team coordination, handle client concerns, and keep stock and supplies running like clockwork.
👥 Empower Our People – Manage rosters, assist with recruitment, guide performance conversations, organise training, and celebrate wins.
🚀 Drive Change – Spot opportunities to streamline operations, lead improvement projects, and enhance both patient and staff experiences.

What We’re Looking For

You’re a natural leader with a knack for building trust, inspiring teams, and making things happen. You love animals—but even more, you love creating a workplace where people feel valued, seen, and supported.

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

• Leadership or supervisory experience in the veterinary or healthcare industry
• Strong organisation and problem-solving skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• Excellent communication and people skills
• A hands-on, “let’s do this” attitude
• Veterinary qualifications (nursing, tech, or science) – highly regarded but not essential
