Windsor Park Stud (NZ) seeks an enthusiastic, hardworking and dedicated veterinary surgeon for the 2025 southern hemisphere breeding season. The successful applicant will join and be supported by our existing resident vet providing care for the farm's bloodstock, with a primary focus on the breeding and foaling units. This is an exciting opportunity to experience all aspects of stud and general medicine on this renowned Thoroughbred Stud based in Cambridge, New Zealand.

This short-term position is an excellent opportunity to advance your skills and knowledge in stud practice. Windsor Park Stud will this season stand a line-up of 7 stallions, headlined by world class gallopers Auguste Rodin and Paddington. The stud anticipates foaling down approximately 250 mares, which provides ample opportunity for the successful applicant to gain further knowledge in this area.

Some previous experience in equine reproduction and foal medicine is required. Applicants must be a New Zealand resident or eligible for a New Zealand work visa and have a primary degree registrable with the Veterinary Council of New Zealand.
